YouTube: Beyond Funny

pic youtubelogo 123x63 YouTube: Beyond Funny Video sites like YouTube and Metacafe are great for a good laugh. They host tons of AFV-like videos, my favorite episodes of The Simpsons, and other comedy shorts that are hilariously entertaining.

In addition to funny videos, however, these sites also host lots of useful instructional videos that can be used for fun, entertainment, and educational purposes. For instance, if you search for “how to” on YouTube the results display a wide variety of content ranging from How to YouTube Podcast to How to Shuffle Poker Chips Like a Poker Pro.

Video sites are also a great place to access speeches from industry professionals and leaders. For instance, here is a wonderfully entertaining and poignant seminar talk from Guy Kawasaki, a marketing genius that did great work at Apple and is now a venture capitalist. You can visit his blog here.
