Tiki Farm iconDefend your crops – Make sure you spray for bugs any time they appear. You’ll earn 1 experience point for every field you spray and this will ensure that your crops are healthy and don’t lose their value.

Tiki Farm iconMoving planted fields – You cannot move fields in Tiki Farm once you’ve planted something in that plot of land. So if you need to move them, make sure you do it before planting your crops or after you’ve harvested them.

Tiki Farm iconChoose highly profitable crops – Some crops are worth more than others. That is, you can sell some crops for more shells than others. Choosing crops that bring in the most profit is a smart way to play the game. You can calculate the profitability of a given crop by accounting for the time, expenses, and sale price for each crop.

Tiki Farm iconPlant crops around your schedule – Be careful when planting crops as some reach maturity sooner than others. If you plant a 15-minute crop and you aren’t able harvest within the allotted time, you may lose your potential profits. If you know you’re going to be away for most of the day, either don’t plant any at all or only plant ones that won’t be ready to harvest until you are able to tend to them.

Tiki Farm iconPlease don’t beg for gifts – Don’t beg your friends to send Tiki Farm gifts. I assure you that posting these gifting needs to your profile is sufficient enough to receive replies and obnoxious requests by friends will fall on deaf ears most of the time.

Tiki Farm iconAvoid slimy offers – Be careful when completing Tiki Farm offers to obtain Tiki Farm gems. Make sure that you read the fine print as many of them will try to fool you into signing up and your credit card or mobile phone may be charged a monthly fee.

Tiki Farm iconExpand your farm – Continue to add extra fields to expand the number of crops you have to increase your potential profits. The more you plant and harvest, the more shells you can earn.

If you want to totally disable this, check out our Facebook Guide that includes detailed instructions on how to do this and manage your Facebook account.

Tiki Farm iconTry a different browser – If you find your web browser to be loading web pages at a snail’s pace, you might want to ditch your current browser for a much lighter one. Opera and Google Chrome load pages quickly and they don’t hog your computers resources as much as traditional web browsers (e.g. Firefox, Internet Explorer) do.

Tiki Farm iconSay it don’t spray it – There’s nothing more annoying than someone asking you to add them as their Facebook friend when you have no idea who they are or why they want to be your friend. A simple message attached to the friend request like “Tiki Farm” or “Tiki Farm add” lets that individual know what the add is for and you’ll most likely obtain a higher acceptance rate than just shouting “add me” over and over again.

Tiki Farm iconBecome a fan of Tiki Farm – Growing your Tiki Farm friends list is a key component of the game. That is the number of Tiki Farm neighbors you have determines what items are available to you, it allows you to earn more Tiki Farm shells, and gain more Tiki Farm experience points to level up faster.
