The latest update release from Google Android (1.5 a.k.a. Cupcake) included, among many other things, video recording capabilities. Google Android video apps are still emerging in the Android Market but there’s a handful of free ones that are very well developed. I’ve sifted through all the free Google Android video player apps and hundreds of Android photo apps, as well as Android audio applications to come up with a list of some of my favorite Google Android multimedia applications. 10 Reasons Why You Should Use Google Apps For Your Website’s Domain
When you purchase a domain (e.g. yourwebsite.com) for your website from any of the domain registrars such as GoDaddy, you normally get a single free email account that includes limited storage space. Instead of upgrading to a paid email account, why not use a free solution like Google Apps? Google Apps is a software-as-a-service solution for business email as well as for sharing information between users and groups. In addition to using it for your business, many personal website owners and bloggers use Google Apps because of the following: Read more »
Kevin Rose Suggesting Digg’s Real Time Design Akin To Twitter?
Kevin Rose has been eluding to some really big changes over at Digg lately. In his interview with Michael Arrington, Kevin went as far to say that the new directions for Digg are “a ballsy move”. During Digg’s Townhall Meeting that aired last night, founder Kevin Rose and CEO Jay Adelson announced lots of upcoming changes that include removal of the shout feature, better sharing on Twitter and Facebook, and a redesign of the homepage. If You’re Not Blocking The DiggBar And Other Spambars, You’re Part Of The Problem
It’s incredibly shocking how short some people’s memories are. In the late 1990’s the Web became inundated by frames such that content was practically inaccessible. While it appears that most publishers understand the serious negative implications that the technique of framing incurs (and hopefully they all add frame breaking script to their websites), most Digg and Facebook users do not. What is of the utmost importance to users is the usability of a product/service. Thus, in an attempt to explain the effect that frames have on browser/website usability, I submit this single image to the Digg and Facebook community as well as all Web users to ask one simple question: Read more »
