Apparently June is Backup Awareness Month and, despite this being the first time I’ve heard of it, it’s been around since 2005 when Maxtor declared it so. Being a victim of a failed hard drive myself, I think this is a great opportunity to remind people to backup their hard drive’s content frequently as most of that data is likely irreplaceable. If you currently don’t have an online backup solution, I would strongly suggest you find an off-site backup provider as on-site (in-house) solutions such as external backup hard drives aren’t fail safe either.
