Google Labs just released an experimental service called Google Voice Local Search. Basically it’s a free 411 service you can use to find local business phone numbers and addresses. To access it, just dial 1-800-GOOG-411 (1-800-466-4411) from any phone. You can use it to search for a local business by name or category, get connected to the business for free, and if you are using your mobile you can even get the details via a text message.

Clipmarks is a web tool that enables you to take any content from any web site. The resultant clippings can then be saved in your clipmarks account, shared with others, or pasted into another site. Trying to keep up with all your user IDs and passwords can be a pain. To manage this problem most people use the same user ID and password for everything. This is a big mistake and huge security risk. All it takes is one crooked administrator to find out which sites that user accesses (i.e. banking site, credit card site, etc.) and voila! The user’s identity, money, and credit are instantly gone. Another reason to not use one single easy to remember password is the fact that these kind of passwords are not strong, lengthy, and difficult to hack like those that incorporate numbers, case-sensitive letters, symbols, and other characters.
