New site for Canada – Grooster (www.grooster.com). It’s currently only available in Vancouver, and is coming soon to Calgary.

It’s been added.
Kevin, great list. You’ll want to add Dealradar.com, where we’re aggregating group buying sites across 75 cities to date.
Twitter/Share/BookmarkHi,
You missed Gilt City – currently launched only in 2 cities but with plans to expand for 15 more by the end of the year.

Added, thanks.
Very good article. I did not know how many of us were out there. Thanks for providing the collection. I wanted to introduce a new group / collective buying website that will be live October 2010. Deal Gulper will focus on up to 4 deals a day per city. Gulpie Rewards become available to gulpies (like groupies) and Gulpie Cards can be used throughout the year to receive additional discounts to your favorite local merchants. We would be honored if you would check us out and become a subscriber before our launch!

I’ll be including it in the list soon.
This is a great article.
However Tippr deal prices don’t go down when more people purchase. They offer accelerated deals which add additional items when more people buy creating a greater value.
The merchants also receive the e-mail addresses for anyone who purchases the voucher.
Their deals are showcased for 3 days instead of one.
There is a $5 referral incentive for inviting your friends.
You can also buy multiple items as gifts for friends on each deal.

Thanks Jen, I’ve updated the info for Tippr.
Hi There
I ve been closely following this site since last few months and find it very useful and interesting. I ve big fan of group buying and bought many coupons, for myself and to gift others in both Canada and US.
I came across this site in FACEBOOK a few days back and I liked their DEAL MILES program. It seems these guys are launching by Mid September from Toronto.
They do have unique rewards system through which they can get Deal Miles for inviting friends, buying a deal, sharing in facebook, twitter, buzz, commenting in discussion panel, birthday bonus Miles etc.,
Just thought of sharing with you
Cheers
